Consilio Hosts The Decade of Discovery™ Screenings in London and Zurich

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 10, 2015 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery software and review services, will host screenings of Joe Looby’s documentary, The Decade of Discovery™, in both Zurich (May 7) and London (May 12). The film spans ten years, detailing a U.S. government attorney’s quest to find a better way to search White House email, a teacher‘s stand for civil justice on the electronic frontier and the impact of these events on the way law is practiced in the U.S.

The evening will begin with a networking cocktail reception, followed by the documentary screening. After the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring Joe Looby, the filmmaker; Jason R. Baron, former Director of Litigation at the U.S. National Archives and star of the film; Ralph Losey, National eDiscovery Counsel at Jackson Lewis P.C.; and Consilio Managing Directors Michael Becker (Zurich) and Drew Macaulay (London). About Joe Looby
Joe Looby wrote and directed The Decade of Discovery, his first feature-length documentary. He served in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General Corps, practiced as an environmental enforcement attorney for New York State and co-founded the forensic technology practices at Deloitte and FTI. His film production company, 10th Mountain Films, was named in honor of his father who served in the 10th Mountain Division, a U.S. Army ski patrol that fought in World War II.

About Jason R. Baron
Jason R. Baron is Of Counsel to the Information Governance and eDiscovery Group at Drinker Biddle Reath LLP in Washington D.C. and co-chair of the Information Governance Initiative. He served 13 years as the first appointed Director of Litigation at the U.S. National Archives; prior to that was a trial attorney and senior counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as counsel of record in lawsuits involving the preservation of White House email. He was named an eDiscovery “trailblazer” by The American Lawyer in its 2013 issue “The Top 50 Big Law Innovators of the Past 50 Years.”

Ralph C. Losey is a practicing attorney, writer, researcher and educator in the field of electronic discovery and legal search. He is a shareholder of Jackson Lewis P.C., where he serves as the firm’s National eDiscovery Counsel, Chair of its Electronic Discovery practice group and head of Litigation Support. Ralph has been a commercial litigator since 1980 and has over 70 published opinions to his credit, including some of the largest eDiscovery cases in the country.
