This updated version of Sightline provides additional resources and enhanced experience for self-service clients working to navigate new obstacles amid COVID-19

Washington D.C. – April 28, 2020 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management and legal consulting services, announced today the release of an updated version of Sightline, Consilio’s end-to-end eDiscovery software ideally suited for self-service work on smaller matters. This version includes new features that are designed to facilitate increased efficiency and cost savings; which is increasingly important as firms and corporate legal departments focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness during uncertain times.

“Our team has been working for some time to prepare this latest version of Sightline to optimize the experience for those who are interested in self-service eDiscovery. As we face uncertain times caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic, we’re seeing an increase in inquiries from corporate legal departments and law firms that are focusing on controlling costs”, said Pete Feinberg, Senior Vice President and leader of Consilio’s Self-Service Business Unit. “The addition of new efficiency features plus an improved user experience for existing capabilities offers a massive boost to our self-service clients who are hungry for usability and supportability. Clients can do more on their own, in fewer clicks, and in a simpler interface, which is a big win for all self-service clients”.

Sightline v6.1 offers clients new features to improve clients’ efficiency in tackling small matter work, such as subpoenas, subject access requests, internal investigations, employment issues and smaller-scale litigation. The new features include the ability to create new projects using an existing project’s tags, coding forms, saved searches, user mappings and more as well as a new Quick Batch feature that reduces complexity when creating new assignments and batching documents to reviewers.

With this upgrade, clients also now have the option to load in smartphone and tablet data into Sightline, where chat and messaging mobile application data are threaded and presented in a format that mirrors how the conversation appeared on the native device’s chat and messaging applications – such as SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, Skype and many more.

In addition to the new features, improvements have been made application-wide to streamline and speed up the document coding experience, the document redaction experience, the reporting and oversight experience, the user management experience and more.

“With these new features, we have positioned Sightline to be the easiest to use, and most comprehensive self-service eDiscovery software on the market”, says Feinberg.
