Leader in global e-Discovery services builds team to accelerate growth

WASHINGTON, DC – Consilio, a leading global e-Discovery services firm, today announced the addition of Todd Horst and Michael Flanagan to its executive management team to support the company’s strategic expansion plans. Horst will serve as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Flanagan as General Counsel.

“I am excited to welcome Todd and Mike to the team,” said Andy Macdonald, CEO of Consilio. “Their skills will not only enable us capitalize on market opportunities, but also help drive the growth envisioned by our investors, Symphony Technology Group (STG). Bill Chisholm, STG Managing Director and Consilio chairman, added, “The addition of Todd and Mike, combined with the company’s global service offering and STG’s financial backing, puts the company in a position of strength in the rapidly expanding legal services market.”

Horst has more than 18 years of product strategy, sales and marketing experience in high-growth, equity-backed companies. Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing at High Street Partners, Managing Director at the Corporate Executive Board, and Executive Vice President at Outtask, a Software-as-a-Service provider acquired by Concur Technologies. Horst earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his BA from Duke University.

Flanagan spent 20 years with Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in Washington, DC, the last 11 as a partner. There he counseled public and private companies on a broad range of legal matters, including the resolution of commercial disputes, the negotiation of corporate transactions, and compliance issues. He was a founding member and a Co-Chair of the firm’s Electronic Data Discovery Initiative and Information Law Practice Group. Flanagan is a graduate of Cornell University and University of Michigan Law School.

“The last two months have been momentous for us,” commented Macdonald. “STG’s support, our partnership with Nexidia, the hiring of Todd and Mike, and several key client wins demonstrate that we have the financial strength, management depth and focus to lead this market. In the coming months, we will further enhance our technology solution, Global RPM®, broaden our service offering and expand our global footprint through acquisitions to offer our customers the most comprehensive solution in the industry.
