Peter leads Consilio’s Financial Services Vertical (FSV) focusing on managing the business relationship with multinational financial services clients. Under his leadership, Consilio has built its practice to support all 15 of the top 15 global investment banks and over 100 other financial services firms.
Peter conceived Consilio’s Financial Services Vertical to facilitate knowledge sharing and process continuity across global financial institutions that are subject to a comparable regulatory framework and litigation exposure. Today, the FSV is actively supporting the largest global investment banks across North America, Europe, India, China, and Japan. The confluence of regulatory requirements, data systems, encryption standards, and information security considerations expose the industry to a unique set of challenges that have consistent themes across financial institutions. Further, the global nature of these organizations brings in data privacy, secrecy, and other regional considerations.
Peter’s objective is for the FSV to aggregate and distribute the value of Consilio’s collective expertise supporting these clients’ over 50,000+ engagements and bring to bear actionable intelligence and best practices in the engagements we are supporting today and into the future. Some of these include Off-Channel Communications related investigations, multi-bank underwriter litigations, departed employee/financial advisor protocols, Data Subject Access Requests, cross border matters, as well as an expansive array of regulatory exams and internal investigations. Through consolidation of this expertise, the FSV endeavors to create a highly differentiated client expertise founded on the FSV theme, Powered by Knowledge.
