Updated Sightline software provides additional features and an enhanced user experience for corporate legal departments and law firms seeking to streamline costs amid COVID-19

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 3, 2020 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and legal consulting services, announced today the release of an updated version of Sightline, Consilio’s end-to-end eDiscovery software ideally suited for self-service work. This version includes new and improved features that are designed to facilitate superior efficiency and usability: increasingly important for self-service eDiscovery projects that need to be handled quickly and cost-effectively.

“To create Sightline 7.0, we worked closely with our clients to understand their challenges and needs to further enhance our self-service eDiscovery workflow,” said Raj Chandrasekar, Chief Operating Officer. “As corporate legal departments and law firms continue to focus on cost-effectiveness and doing more with less, we simplified the user interface, made the application faster, and added a new feature allowing users the ability to make redactions across multiple documents in one shot. With these enhancements, clients are equipped with a powerful, yet simple, and intuitive eDiscovery platform.”

Sightline 7.0 offers clients new features to help case teams be more efficient with their eDiscovery workflows. The new features include faster doc-to-doc speed, integrated and automated workflow for admins to find and redact private or privileged material en masse, and the ability to convert exports from multiple chat applications — including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Amazon Chime, and many more – into a reviewable, threaded format for attorneys.

In addition to the new features, Sightline’s production module now has improved notifications for users to be aware of exactly where the production is in process, and an ability to easily download, or send a production securely to opposing counsel. These new features mean that users can easily execute complex, large-scale productions more efficiently than before.

“Sightline is a best-in-class, self-service eDiscovery software, and these new features have been designed to enable further cost savings and streamlined workflows for our clients,” said Meredith Kildow, Chief Revenue Officer. “Sightline integrates Early Case Assessment, a complete review experience, and powerful analytics into a unified platform so that users only need to log in once to investigate, analyze, review, and produce documents to support the full matter lifecycle in the most efficient way possible.”
