Washington D.C. – February 24, 2020 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management and legal consulting services, today announced the creation of its Innovation and Product Office, which will consist of six team members located across Consilio’s global offices. The team will be led by newly appointed Senior Vice President of Innovation and Product, Steve Barsony.

The Innovation and Product Office will lead efforts to bring to life new innovative ideas for Consilio capabilities, offerings and/or products. The team will work as Consilio’s innovation clearinghouse to consolidate all ideas and refine them, research and specify details, and determine client viability with the goal of ensuring that innovations maintain Consilio’s superior client service. Members of the Innovation and Product Office sit across Consilio’s offices in Monrovia, Sacramento, Washington, D.C., El Paso, London and Bangalore.

“Over Consilio’s nearly two decades in the marketplace, we have established a track record of bringing innovative services and technology solutions to the market – reflected in our new brand platform, Consilio Complete, which encompasses our comprehensive product suite,” said Raj Chandrasekar, Chief Technology Officer at Consilio. “As we continue to focus on growth and operational efficiency, the Innovation and Product Office led by Steve gives us an opportunity to leverage the strength of our innovation and scale in a sustainable and structured manner. This initiative will enable us to continue to innovate, build and maintain products and services that will achieve our clients’ goals while enhancing enterprise value.”

Barsony joined DiscoverReady in 2011 where he led teams on innovation in workflow and technology enablement, including practical deployment of advanced analytics, automation for privilege review and objective classification for review acceleration. Following Consilio’s acquisition of DiscoverReady in 2018, Barsony continued to serve as Vice President of Innovation and Technology, helping the Client Services team identify opportunities to productize and launch emerging services and technology, such as the Cyber Incident Response Service. Barsony has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston University.

“It’s an exciting time at Consilio, and I’m honored to be able to work alongside talented and passionate teammates to help foster growth and innovation as we enter into the next chapter,” said Steve Barsony, Senior Vice President of Innovation and Product.
