LONDON. – September 11, 2013 Consilio, a Symphony Technology Group (STG) company and global leader in eDisclosure software and services, has announced that two of its key executives will present at IQPC’s Information Governance & eDiscovery for Financial Services conference.

The event is scheduled to take place 17th – 18th September, with pre-event workshops held on 16th September. The location of the event is the Kensington Close Hotel in London. This year’s forum will provide guidance on dealing with the complexity and variety of eDiscovery requirements arising from financial services investigations and disputes.

The Consilio hosted events will include:

  • Monday 16th September 2013, 9.00am – 11:30am: A pre-conference workshop entitled, “Financial Services Investigations: A Practical Guide” will be conducted by Drew Macaulay, Managing Director at Consilio. Drew will present a hypothetical case allowing for learning opportunities and discussions relating to the legal and technical steps taken during a regulatory investigation.
  • Tuesday 17th September 2013, 3.45pm – 4.30pm: A presentation entitled, “Audio discovery in Financial Services litigation and investigations” will be conducted by Adam Pollitt, Executive Vice President at Consilio. This session will provide an overview of the requirements for retention of audio records, the increasing need to undertake a review of audio records in a litigation or investigation context and the defensible use of advanced audio searching technology as a cost control measure.

Drew Macaulay, Managing Director at Consilio, explains, “Over the last few years Financial Services organisations have been inundated with regulatory information requests, investigations and litigation. Our workshop will provide practical information to help participants understand the technical processes involved in responding to investigations and litigation disclosure exercises, and our audio disclosure presentation will introduce the audience to defensible methodologies for dealing with this growing issue.”
