Company to offer free library of educational materials and programs on practice subjects from eDiscovery fundamentals to the latest privacy challenges
WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 5, 2021 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and legal consulting services, announces today the launch of the Consilio Advanced Learning Institute, a center for thought leadership, research, and education for legal practitioners. The Institute will draw on internal and external experts in forensics, eDiscovery, document review, legal technology, law department operations, and other subjects to provide free educational articles, papers, webinars, and more. Its operations will be overseen by an interdisciplinary Steering Committee and led by Consilio Director of Education, Matthew Verga.
“Better information leads to better outcomes, and we want to make that information available to everyone,” said Verga. “The Consilio Advanced Learning Institute will be a living repository for educational materials to help advance technical competency, break down barriers to solving today’s legal challenges, and inspire new ideas for tomorrow.”
In addition to publishing original thought leadership, the Institute will author and deliver public webinars and up-to-date CLE sessions for Consilio clients and drive educational partnerships with key law firms, corporations, and higher education partners.
Accompanying the launch, the Institute released a library of practice guides and articles, including:
- The Evolving Duty of Technology Competence
- In the Beginning: Identification and Preservation Fundamentals
- Time to Make the Donuts: Processing Fundamentals
- Clearing the Fog of War: ECA Fundamentals
- The Final Countdown: Production Fundamentals
“As a leading provider of technology enabled legal support services with a large and diverse global client base, we are seeing firsthand that the legal profession is facing rapid change in a diverse set of areas,” said Meredith Kildow, Chief Revenue Officer, Consilio. “The Institute will leverage Consilio’s scale, in-house expertise, cutting edge technology and access to global industry leaders to equip practitioners with the skills needed to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex legal landscape.”
