WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 10, 2014 Consilio, a Symphony Technology Group (STG) company and a global leader in eDiscovery software and services, today announced the expansion of its Frankfurt office located in the heart of the financial district at Bethmannstrasse 56, 60311 Frankfurt. The new facility boasts state-of-the-art facilities for document review, processing, and hosting that are significantly larger than its previous location.

In 2007, Consilio opened its first German office in Munich, followed by an office in Frankfurt in 2012. This recent expansion speaks to the increase in internal investigations and cross-border litigation as US and EU regulatory pressures mount. The new location can accommodate multiple concurrent reviews.

Michael Becker, Managing Director of Germany, Austria and Switzerland states, “Many of our global clients store documents and other electronic materials in Germany and look to us to alleviate the challenges associated with meeting their discovery obligations in light of Germany’s strict data-protection laws, in accordance with Germany’s Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz or BDSG), which implements the EU’s Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC.”

Consilio’s Executive Vice President, Adam Pollitt adds, “Our expanded review center, in tandem with our seasoned team of project managers, skilled native-speaking reviewers with legal and technical expertise, and innovative review and analytics technology, helps us solve our clients’ most complex eDiscovery challenges: complying with the law and maintaining the security and privacy of their information while controlling costs and responding defensibly to government and litigation requests.”
